We live in a world comprised of infinitely small things.  Nothing does not exist, there is always something.  We can't see it, and of course, until quantum mechanics gets a whole lot better, we can only know that somehow, something came from what we perceive as nothing.  There is never nothing.  The tiniest portions of nothing contain something ergo, something as big as your world contains a lot of somethings that, while you can't see without very expensive and very specialized technology, exist.  These somethings exist on you, in you, around you, they exist in the smallest things you can see and the largest things you can see.  Let's keep taking trips into the world of the amazingly tiny and maybe gain some understanding of "nothing".  Even that book, the one that so many believe contains all truth states, "in the beginning there was nothing".  But there couldn't have been nothing because it exploded, therefore, something existed, exists now and will always exist.

What is nothing?

this:

What Is Nothing? Premiere: Wednesday, June 27 at 10PM

When you think about nothing, does that make it something? Can there ever be such a thing as nothing? Physicists regard the true nature of nothingness as one of the biggest mysteries of the Universe. And now their work to try to understand what "Nothing" really is may finally uncover what our Cosmos is made of, how it came from nothing 13.7 billion years ago, and when it might collapse into a purely empty void once again. Einstein showed us that empty space was really a force field that holds the entire universe together with gravity. Quantum Mechanics predicts that empty space is not actually empty. In every corner of the Universe there are tiny ripples of energy. Many physicists believe this energy is unstable. It might collapse, taking everything in the Universe down with it, or it could explode, with similarly devastating results. But understanding the baffling paradox of nothing may be a matter of perspective. One Nobel Prize winning physicist believes nothing might be a lack of information. Another scientist believes an entire world of nothingness envelopes our material world—made of Dark Matter. And another thinks he may be able to solve how our entire Universe can come from absolutely nothing. The quest to understand nothing is uncovering the very foundation upon the entire Cosmos is built. At stake is nothing less than the secret of life, and death, of our Universe.
